DISCLAIMER
- HVAC&R Services / Repairs are billed as stated on the service ticket or invoice provided. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Weekends, Holidays and the time between 5pm-8am on weekdays are consider AFTER-HOURS and is charged at AFTER-HOUR RATES. The minimum charge on an invoice is One (1) Hour plus the Service Call Fee.
- There is a minimum charge of a Service Call Fee plus 30 minutes at our Hourly Rate (determined by the date and time of service call), for any scheduled appointments missed by the Client for any reason whether controllable or uncontrollable. This fee will be charged if Client fails to show up at scheduled appointment without a Twenty Four (24) Hour cancellation notice. If the Technician arrives onsite and customer is not present and cancellation notice was not given, the technician will wait on-site for 15 minutes before leaving. After 15 minutes, this is considered a No-Show and the customers credit card will be charged with all applicable fees. In the case, where customer wants to continue with service, but is running late, our hourly rate will be charged from the time the technician arrives on-site.
- An estimate for service repair work to be done, will be provided verbally or in writing, upon request, before performing equipment services / repairs. Estimates and it’s pricing are not guaranteed.
- In the case that there is an unforeseen deviation, beyond the above estimated amount, every effort will be made to contact you and inform you of the situation and receive authorization to continue or stop at the estimate limit.
- In the case that the Client cannot be reached, work will stop until contact is established. Once reached, Clients decision to continue or stop will be honored by M.A.C Air Service, Inc.
- All services / repairs may be subject to Florida State Sales Tax.
BILLING TERMS
- M.A.C Air Service, Inc. will only perform and provide services, repairs, and installations as requested by the Client. M.A.C Air Service, Inc. will conduct honest, reasonable, and considerate services. The goal is to provide the highest quality of service and support, but specific results cannot be guaranteed.
- HVAC&R service / repairs are provided as a service. There may be circumstances under which Client’s equipment cannot be repaired. It will have to be retrofitted or upgraded. (Examples: Age / condition of equipment, repair/replacement parts obsolete compressors, motors, boards, etc.)
- The length of time required to service / repair your equipment cannot be predicted. (See section “Billing Terms” below)
- Client understands that in the process of working on your equipment, there is a potential for component loss. (See section “Liability” below)
- Client authorizes the technician(s) providing the service / repair or installation of equipment, to install necessary parts / material on your equipment to perform required services. All additional parts / material will be added to ticket / invoice or estimate and will be paid for upon completion of work.
- Not all services / repairs can be completed on-site and must be completed at our office.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Full payment is due upon completion of services, upgrades / installations, or repairs.
- HVAC&R parts that are ordered or special ordered must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.
- M.A.C Air Service, Inc. accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. A $35.00 Return Check Fee will be charged for any returned check with NSF (non-sufficient funds).
- In order for M.A.C Air Service, Inc. to keep its rates low, payments must be made promptly. Bills will be deemed delinquent and assessed a Monthly Late Fee, if payment is not received within 30 days after the completed service date. If an amount remains delinquent 30 days after completed service date, an additional penalty of 1.5% of the original balance plus a minimum service charge of $1.50 per month will be applied for each month of delinquency. M.A.C Air Service, Inc. reserves the right to report delinquent payment to credit bureau(s) and collection agencies in attempts to recover payment. If deemed necessary, M.A.C Air Service, Inc. reserves the right to take client to court to recover costs in which client will incur all fees by the process.
LIABILITY
- Service(s) are provided in an effort to fix, upgrade, or otherwise repair the system(s) for which client or authorized representative requested such service(s).
- Your system will not be intentionally harmed. The primary goal is to fix your equipment / systems, not create or cause further damage.
- In the case of accidental damage to your system by already existing problems in your system such as leaks of refrigerant or of water, bad configured parameters, intermittent component problems / failures, Client agrees to hold M.A.C Air Service, Inc. and any person(s) associated with M.A.C Air Service, Inc. or involved in the work being done for Client harmless from damages resulting from such problems.
Customer Service
- Customer satisfaction is our utmost importance.
- All services will be conducted in a professional, reasonable and timely manner. Also, taking into consideration the circumstances and nature of the technical problems.
- Warranty work is covered for thirty (30) days and will only be covered if it is related to the work on the Service Ticket / Invoice. Unrelated work will not be covered by the warranty and will be charged accordingly.
REPAIRS & SERVICE GUARANTEE
- All services and repairs are guaranteed for thirty (30) days from the completion / acceptance date on the Service Ticket / Invoice.
- If later found that the service or repair was incorrectly diagnosed by the technician. Then M.A.C Air Service, Inc. will perform the repair / service free of any labor charge. Only the new parts will be charged.
ESTIMATES
- M.A.C Air Service, Inc. offers free repair estimates over the phone or via email.
- An Equipment Change Out estimate REQUIRES a $285 fee. This fee covers the expenses in providing a proper estimate.
- If the Client decides that they would like M.A.C Air Service, Inc. to continue with the installation of new equipment, this fee will be deducted from the estimate total.
- If the Client decides that they would like M.A.C Air Service, Inc. to continue with the installation of new equipment AFTER the estimate expiration date, the Client will be charged for the full price of equipment installation. (The $285 fee will not be waived/discounted).
- All estimates are valid for Thirty (30) Days from the date of creation. (see Section “Billing Terms” above).
- Customers are asked to not interrupt the technician as the evaluation and estimate are being completed. Save all additional questions until after you receive the estimate.
- Estimates to have complete systems installed will be performed during normal business hours. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
